Supported Community Connections (SCC)

BethelCare LLC will provide SCC services to individuals in the community. SCC services willbe provided in the Aurora and Denver metro area at locations where all people within a
community frequently utilize or gather. These locations may include museums, recreation centers, businesses, local festivals and other sites where persons can interact directly with the
public and develop communication, independence and safety skills. SCC services are designed to support individuals with opportunities to build relationships and natural supports in the community, interact with community members, promote safety and independence, and work on personal goals. BethelCare LLC will utilize typical community settings as part of the SCC
learning environment. SCC services can be provided on a one-time basis or on a recurring basis. 

SCC services will be provided on a one-to-one basis or in groups between 2-5 persons. SCC will provide individuals with experience accessing their community competently, confidently and safely; expose individuals to a variety of cultural, social, recreational, volunteer,
and employment opportunities available to them in their community; and, educate individuals about how to access their community in an informed manner. SCC will provide individuals the
opportunity to plan, choose, and learn while accessing their community.
