Position Overview:
Bethelcare is looking for a dedicated and organized Day Program Coordinator to join our team on a part-time/Full-time or contract basis. This role involves coordinating and overseeing activities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, ensuring a safe, engaging, and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, plan, and coordinate daily activities and community outings to foster social, recreational, and life skills development.
- Supervise and support staff and clients during all activities, ensuring safety and engagement.
- Ensure compliance with individual care plans, health, and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including attendance records, progress notes, and activity reports.
- Regularly communicate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for each client.
- Provide transportation for clients to various community activities and appointments as needed.
- Assist with personal care and medical needs, including medication administration, as necessary.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on best practices and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
- Reliable vehicle, auto insurance, and a valid driver’s license.
- Proof of a High School Diploma or GED.
- Certification in QMAP, CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain before hire).
- Willingness to undergo additional training in developmental and intellectual disabilities, client rights, and crisis intervention.

As a Residential Case Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating residential services for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD). This role involves supporting clients and their families to ensure the highest quality of care, promoting independent living skills, and facilitating productive and meaningful lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of 15 to 20 adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
- Oversee all aspects of residential services, including staff supervision, scheduling, training, and retention.
- Conduct performance evaluations, address employee concerns, and implement disciplinary actions as needed.
- Develop, coordinate, and monitor programs in line with the Service Plan.
- Conduct home visits and environmental monitoring to ensure compliance with agency standards and IDD regulations.
- Complete and submit monthly paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
- Provide rotating on-call coverage as required.
Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Experience in case management and service coordination.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and planning abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team, adapt to change, and respond positively to feedback.

Job Overview: The Foster Care Case Manager/Certifier holds a dual role central to the agency’s mission. They are responsible for recruiting, assessing, and certifying new foster families. They are also responsible for providing ongoing case management, supervision, and support to a caseload of certified foster homes and the children placed within them.
Primary Responsibilities:
The placement worker, under the direct supervision of the placement supervisor, is responsible for the monitoring and protection of children, and may:
1. Provide case management for individual children; and,
2. Coordinate services for child(ren) and their family; and,
3. Provide monitoring and support to foster homes; and,
4. Conduct SAFE assessments to determine the ability of foster homes to meet children’s needs.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related social/behavioral science field.
- Experience working with children and families in the child welfare system.
- Strong writing, assessment, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse families and community partners.
- Successful completion of all required background checks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW).
- Direct experience conducting foster home studies and certifications.
- State certification as a Caseworker in Colorado.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).

As a Host Home Provider with Bethelcare, you will welcome an individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) into your home, providing a consistent, warm environment where they can thrive and maintain the highest level of independence possible. This role involves 24/7 care, supporting daily activities, and helping individuals learn essential life skills, ensuring they are integrated into your family and community.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 24/7 care and support to individuals in your home.
- Welcome the individual into your home and create a nurturing environment.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as budgeting, cooking, cleaning, laundry, and personal hygiene.
- Offer higher support levels as needed, including hands-on assistance with bathing, mobility, toileting, and eating.
- Transport individuals to all appointments, both medical and non-medical, or arrange alternative options for those requiring additional support.
- Track and document daily and monthly goals, medication administration, and care provided.
- Ensure the provision of at least three nutritious meals per day.
- Assist in managing the individual’s finances, including tracking purchases, balancing expenses, and preparing documents for monthly audits.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Experience working with high-behavioral individuals preferred.
- Ability to pass a criminal and Adult Protective Services background check.
- Completion of a vehicle inspection and possession of current auto insurance.
- Proof of home or renter’s insurance.
- Ability to obtain General Liability Insurance once a client is placed in the home.
- Maintain current CPR/First Aid certifications.
- Maintain QMap (Medication Administration) certification.
- All adults residing in the home (excluding those receiving services) must pass a criminal background check.
